I am switching ISP providers (from Comcast to Verizon). My personal website

If anyone wants to save any of the tables with test data etc from my site you may want to do so in the next week or so.

Such tables as the pager motor outputs, prop thrust tables etc are used every day I am quite sure...I guess we take such things for granted
Some obsolete parts and components i'm sure are in peoples parts bins and so the data collection couldn't be readily repeated, even if someone wished to.

Thanks for a great resource and I do hope that much of the information can be hosted somewhere. Perhaps by another member ?

The Gee Bee R3 graphics I cannot share. The rights to those are owned by DoNuts Models in France. I created my graphics from scratch, but with their permission as long as I did not share my graphics. Sorry. That model was a profile Depron plane using a Plantracto RX, two microActs, and a DD 7mm motor. At some point I'll do another Gee Bee R3. That one never flew well.

When (if) I get time to put my web site back up on the new server I'll hopefully add new content. I need to get around to pulling together information I have on all/most of the brushed Parkzone motors and gearboxes (6mm and 8.4mm motors of various winds and various gear ratios). That would take some time to summarize and do the remaining tests, time I've just not had. What time I've had over the last year or so I've spent building models rather than summarizing tests. But, I hope to get the tests summarized at some point.

I can host my site on my new Verizon ISP. It's just finding the time to put the site up there. Maybe I'll get the time in the next month or two, maybe not. Depends on family and job.

Too bad,I always loved that model. Was it just too big for DD pager, or too much drag because of the landing gear?

Nope, just didn't turn well, even with the landing gear removed.

I was busy saving a few pages from Gordon's great web site when I realized that there's another way.... use one of the internet archiving services to see what the site was like when they last scanned it. The latest scan I found using the Internet Wayback Machine was in 2007: http://web.archive.org/web/200710110...ordon-johnson/

Certainly beats nothing which is what I'd otherwise have had after he takes down the current site.

Thanks for the heads up on the site going down. I just finished harvesting the motor and battery test tables. I refer to them frequently when consideing power for a new plane. Browsing through your past planes brought back some memories and reminded me how far micros have come over the last seven or so years.
