Hi Cralis, Berkie has given you good advice on the servos. I installed 4 HXT900's before she flew and have already replaced one that failed on an aileron.
I have since ordered 3 HK939's http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=14458 they are very close to what Berkie has suggested, slightly slower 4/100 sec. and a little stronger 2.5kg @ 4.8v, similar cost. Either would be a good choice, both are metal gear. I don't use the rudder much so I left the HXT900 there (in the vert. stab.).

Bird!! Good to hear from you again.

Yes, for rud/elev they are a breeze. Easy access & just screw out screw in.

Thanks Kev.

Just to confirm... Nup = Nope? Or do these ones drop in easily to replace the stock ones?

Kev
I had not planned on replacing mine.
I figure if one fails I got a backup.

This sure was not where I may have double posted.

I never do that kind of thing.

Hey Kev, not sure who's replacing what but I'm putting in stronger aileron and elevator servos. I experienced the slow pullout from a fast dive and very slow roll. C/F on the ailerons helped some and "rhawk' has confirmed it works for the elevator also. I "think" the stronger servos will speed up the roll even more.

Cralis: here is another drop in option, in stock http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...dProduct=11856
Note: the aileron servos will be drop in sized, but you will need to solder the wires near the servo.

Yep, nup is nope, meaning "no they are in stock"
Your link though is for the same servo that was in the link I sent you

Ordered - thanks. I'll maybe stick with the stock aileron ones for now.. But, are flaps a good idea? Has anyone added them? I saw pone of these fly recently, and the guy cut in some flaps, and they seemed to slow the approach down beautifully.

The video's re not mine. I have seen them on RCG before and searched for them on YouTube in order to help someone on a question about Fox & FPV.

So sorry for not answering your question

I bought the 929's from HK, and I really like them. For the price they are a good value.
