Perfect day for flying

Why is it that the perfect days for flying usually occurs when you are at work

It is warm, super sunny with just the gentlest of a breeze today.
I have a plane with me, but I have to go out for lunch today, so no flying at lunch

P.S.
Finally got my new DSMX 6 Chanel radio.
I ordered a radio and full range receiver, but it is still on back order and won't Be in until the end of May MAYBE

The hobby shop told me they only got BNF radios in this week, so I told them I,d take the BNF and for them to order me a full range receiver.
Funny thing is the receivers will be in this week, the same week I ordered it.
So you can get a BNF radio and purchase the receiver separately, but you can't get the radio and receiver together, without it being backordered.

They will not be charging me more for ordering the receiver separately.

Hey Glen:
I use 10% ail. + rud. with 20% on the elevator, not really required it just makes it a little smoother in the air.

I bet some people will take a "Shining" to your avatar.

Fox is quite lazy in the manouvers. No expo really needed.

Chased some thermals with the fox today. This airframe really handles the wind well. 20 mph gusts if not more today. Spring is finally getting around to being here.

Nice pictures, except for the white stuff
The white stuff has been gone for 3-4 weeks here in this part of Canada.

Ouch Bad luck, I guess..

For all those interested: The screws holding the wings are 2mm ones.

I bought 10 of the 2,0x8mm screws from my Hobbyshop(Only a one-blade screw though) and they fit perfect(and are perfect for the price of 0.55). I wouldn't use cross-tip screws for too long, the ones used by the chinese factory are quite a bad quality IMO.

I just ordered 3 of them since I also just received my REFUND for the
PCB only versions that would NOT bind.

NOTE: When I tried to use my REFUND (POINTS) HK would only apply it to the
cost of the merchandise but NOT the postage. sigh ....
Oh and they only allow the purchase of 3ea , not 4 or 5 or ... ONLY 3 !

When I get em I'll try em and report back !

The OLDER PCB only versions WORKED, I have two working now.
But the new "improved ones" did not work, so I lost my postage costs both ways.
But things CAN be returned to Warehouse in Washington State

How many did you return?
I had to send my three back to China, I was not allowed to send them back To the Us warehouse!?!?!?!? I too payed twice for shipping and a third time for the replacements I ordered. OH well still way way cheaper then buying from Horizon Hobby OUCH

I've been flying two other planes since Thursday with the Orange receivers and they work GREAT with the new DX6I radio. I had a modded Hobbyzone Super Cub way up there like a spec in the sky and no problems with signal lose. probably have 3 hours on orange receivers now.

My full range Spektrum DSMX receiver finally came into the LHS and I'll pick it up Wed.
Then I can actually fly the Fox soon YAH!!!!
