I had no manual apart from a "Quick Start Sheet" in my box, though the quick start sheet wasn't specifically for the plane. It read wingspan: 1000-3000mm; Flying Weight: 300-2000g et cetera. The rest was in such a bad german that I could hardly figure it out

I just went through the manual, you don't need it now. How to attach the wings, C/G and the rest is just safety stuff, parts list, radio/charger info ( it sells as an RTF somewhere). So you are not missing anything if your already flying.

Good to know . Does anyone have experience with letting the engine run at full throttle all the time whilst flying? Can the ESC handle it well enough?

Did a video of the flight this time, The camera is mounted on the cabin. At the beginning I was making sure everythign was correct with the engine, it was acting a little bit weird a flight before.

@Helitime

Kerry What Hobby shop did you get the folding blades from?
Ideal Hobbies in Barrie doesn't have any folding blades,

I asked Dave if he had any folding props and he looked at me and said:
"We haven't sold any folders in more then 4-5 years"
I may call Hobby Hobby in Mississauga today and see if they have them.

I used one of those 808 Spycams(www.chucklohr.com/808), #6 version to be specific. I mounted it on top of the cabin.

biggy boy, wait for a day and I think the tracking number will work then, if you ordered from the EU warehouse. They seem to mark them as "shipped out" as soon as it has exited their warehouse walls, but it hasn't been transfered to GLS by then..

I was doing some 3D lately and the battery "compartment" EPO broke for me. You might want to add some extra foam or atleast toothpicks there if you're looking forward to do 3D.

Biggy boy, maybe have a look at hobbyking? Their shipping at 100gr isn't too expensive and the blades are quite resistent concerning crashes I think, atleast none broke for me yet. Only thing that happened yet was the nose cone falling of, but you can just clip it back on.

Thanks for the link to the props! I think I might order the 12x6.5 and maybe 13x6.5 ones later. Concerning the HD cam, I thought about ordering one and putting it into a "pressure-resistive" case so I could use it underwater for diving too. I'll think about it again(Though, $40 for a real HD cam really isn't bad..).

When I flew mine in 20C weather I noticed that the battery pack got warmer than I'd like. There's virtually no cooling for the battery. Of course, I'm using a bit stronger of a motor with a 40 amp ESC. Still though, if you want to fly with full throttle a good bit of the time I'd consider cutting some vents for better airflow to cool the motor/batter/ESC.

Nice video!

I have several dozen of the HXT 900's, swear by them for the price. Never had one fail except in a crash. I have 4 of them in the Fox. :-)
