Hello!

I have one under construction! 55´´ fuse´length!
She is a really big bird, isn´t she? Wing span is 39´´. To get a feeling of her size, I put an Offshore Gripen in the foreground.
The problem of the Viggen is, she is a draggy delta wing aeroplane and the Draken is too! So, you have to put a lot of power into her to get a satisfying performance.
The intakes of the moulded Viggen on the pic recommend this fuse´for a 90mm fan. I made some calculations once before. With 16 cells and a 90mm fan, take off weight will be 88oz. Ugh! Of course, 24 cells were the answer. Or a HW 730 and a sheeter hole in the belly. Due to a lack of time, work won't start before Winter. But when it does, I will provide you with further information!

Cheers,

Michael

May be this will be another project for GWS to do after our EDF75 J-10?

See GWS J-10: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=667315

However, I will prefer to use EDF75 for less expensive.

Well Mr. Lin, after thinking and expressing some unkind thoughts about your recent choice of models to release, I'm looking to get one of your J-10's after all. Nice looking model, good price (you beat all of the others in this respect) and in all of the videos that I've seen of it it flies nice. Love the canard jets. Don't tease us about the Viggen. It's a great design with plenty of wing area and a pleasant shape. Please make it.
