How About a 14% Symmetrical Wing on an E-Starter ?
I have an E-Starter sitting around that I haven't flown for a few months. So I figure why not replace the undercambered foam wing that has 10* dihedral plus droop tips, with an NACA 0014 symmetrical balsa wing at 1* dihedral ?
Wouldn't a 14% symmetrical on a 700g plane make nice slow dives that leave time to do something but jam the elevator back to keep it from lawn darting ?
All the planes I made so far build too much speed in a dive or get pretty wild on a goofed up roll.

Excess speed in a dive comes from weight and a lack of drag.
That undercambered foam wing will probably have more drag than a fully symmetrical one.
What is it you want to do, dive slowly ?
You will need a lot of drag, (as in dive brakes on full size aircraft or flaps), add a whole load of lightness , perhaps run a fairly big diameter prop and run it slowly in a dive, (a slow turning prop is very draggy). A lot of incidence can also increase drag.

The stock wing doesn't seem so good for inverted flight, causes too much change in elevator response for my level.
I did order a Laser Stik .10 in hopes for a draggy slow responding aerobat. I am just not good enough in odd attitudes for any of my snappy planes except maybe the E-Starter which can sort of break wind and snap also.
Too bad none of my radios allow on demand butterfly mode.
