I use four Turnigy 2213/22 924Kv motors. Very quiet motors, not much vibrations...

If you decide to get those, make sure to order the accessory pack too. Sometimes there are parts missing (bullet connectors) or badly made (bell prop adapter), and it sucks having to delay a build for such a silly reason.

The shaft is not reversible on that motor unless you can make your own groove for the c-clip. It comes with a 5mm prop adapter that screws onto the bell side for reverse mounting; this is how I use them in my quad.

I use Turnigy 2830-1000.
Do not use these motors, bought four, two are unbalance and vibrate a lot. Magnets inside the bells are misaligned. Also this motor is top mounting only.

I use TR 35-30C 1100kv Brushless Outrunner (Eq AXi 2808)

Capable of payload about 1.5Kg with my Tricopter

all 3 motors works very well and all my friends are impressed of how quiet it is.

I even compared it with a GAUI-quad and mine is far better

I'm currently use KDA 20-22L's (924kv). A good motor for a sporty Quad in combination with APC 10x4.7's.
Mind you, two out of my five motors burnt out for unknown reasons.

Come's with a fantastic accessory kit and my favourite type of prop adaptor.

However, I will be switching to to RC Timer 2836's (750kv) for my heavy-lifter Coax Octocopter.

I use these motors
on my KKtricopter with 10x4.7 apc sf cw/ccw props, emax 18a esc. 1kg auw 55cm motor to centre. Off the ground at just over 1/2 throttle. Plenty of punch for fast climb outs & the motors & esc's come down barely warm after a full 2800mah battery on an average flight.
You can ignore the quoted thrust to amps ratio from the seller, it's overstated! These come without mounts or prop adapters. I use collet shaft adapters on mine. They are pretty smooth out of the box, but the shafts are quite delicate & have a tendency to bend on fairly gentle impact I'm going to have a go at mounting the other way up, with motor bell fixed prop adapters to get round the weak shafts...

Two scratch-built quads: #1 is 14" shaft to shaft and uses Hyperion Z2205-46 motors turning either APC 8 x 3.8 SF props or GWS 8 x 4 3-bladers. #2 is 34" across motor shafts and uses Hyperion ZS2209-30 motors (930Kv) turning (for now) APC 10 x 3.8's. Both are 3S setups.

I use on my KK tricopter https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITED...idProduct=6549 with ESC https://www.unitedhobbies.com/UNITED...idProduct=6460 and propeller GWS 10x3.8.

In flight doesn't get hot. It is a good engine but shaft is very long and weak, bends easily.

I have succesfully used AXN800, DT750, HXT 24g 1300kv and KDA 20-22l

Stay away from turnigy Aerodrive XP 28-30 750KV, its a crap motor.

Will try the RCtimer 750KV to replace DT750....

Have also used TP bell motors but balancing is poor and there is lots of vibration, but good for a cheap "trasher"

I use Turnigy Plush and Mystery Blue ESCīs

Those RCTimer motors are much better than Hobby King motors. I use to run Turnigy and KDA but now I run all RCTimer. Those BC2836-11 motors blow away all the others. I also rum BC2836-8 on my small airplanes and they all work perfectly and I have not had any bearing problems.
