Andd Conway's new Supermarine Scimitar with MidiFan.

Got this from Andy, his own design Supermarine Scimitar,an early UK Royal Navy carrier borne jet fighter.
He had problems loading the pictures on here,so I said I'd try on his behalf.
Only info. I have presently,is it is powered with a WeMo MidiFan,running from 12/14 2400 cells (no idea what manufacture)
No details regarding the motor either.

He has gone on holiday for a couple of weeks,so more info. when he gets back.
The model is Solartex'd on top, glassed on the bottom.

Well done Andy!

Here the model sits on the launch ramp.

Finally,Andy with the model.
I believe he will be selling plans etc. for this one, like his superb L39 Albatros.

I also believe he may be selling plas now for his SU27 too.

Those high wing loading birds must be quick!
As I say, more info/data on his return.

Enjoy the pics! (taken in Sunny Scotland)

Matt.

Hi Matt

Motor is a Kontronic Fun 500/19 on 12/2400 cells at present, but Andy's going to fit 1950 aup nimh and a Mega 22/20/2 next to lighten the model and get more power with the higher Kv motor.
