Guys, can we focus, I really did not understand the last few posts or their point to be honest!!

Anyway, back to me (!!), my ebay case date is due for automatic closure on 2nd Nov... meantime, I am playing email tennis :bouncing emails back and forth between "friend" in China and me.

Getting nothing other than they will refund me only when they get their grubby hands on their sham goods. I need the words of wisdom from those of you that know how ebay will play this out...what happens on the 2nd of Nov when my case gets automatically closed?

Do ebay review it themselves at this point or do I need to initiate the High Court of Ebay to sit in judgement?
I have tried ringing ebay, got some woman in a Manilla call centre telling me I need to get a hobby shop to document that the item I have is a fake etc. etc. but when I put it to her that if there were hundreds of people out there with these fakes, surely a hobby shop is unlikely to sit there wanting to produce documents for you now to help you out because you tried to bypass them and save a few bucks... the woman in Manilla ran out of words and started to repeat herself and her instructions to avoid amswering me!

I don't know about you guys, but I'd feel embarrassed to go into a reputable dealer with this piece of crap and say "look Guys what I got suckered into buying on ebay"...

Hey Amhed,

I am probably the most qualified to answer this. What you need to do is wait for the resolution process to complete so you can escalate. You are probably going to get screwed either way, but at least if you escalate you have everything done right. You may escalate ~1 week after you opened the case. There should be a little check box. That will show up after exactly 7 days. Ebay will then force you to send the item back using registered mail.

You can either accept this or not accept this. I would almost advise taking the 60$ hit and not sending the item back. If you do take the 60$ hit you at lose 60$ but registed mail to china from the US costs 20-30 $ if you use the original packaging and there is no 100% case that they are going to accept the item back.

In my case they are refusing to accept the delivery.

Update : If they refuse delivery. Supposedly buyer protection will kick in. I will let the forum know as soon as I get an answer from ebay. There are a lot of complaints though about this and supposedly a lot of regional differences. So we can just hope for the best

Sorry Ahmed if my posts were "mixed up".

I think we should open up a shid load of ebay accounts (not for real use) and order cheap items from him and give him a negative feedback warning others about those fakes. ...or maybe not.. I'm not sure anymore.. what do you think guys?

The bolt fake is really serious, I took several hours on bed last night thinking about this case. This reminds me of the fight with 32GB fake SDHC cards that are being sold on eBay also (fakes are usually 2GB with a hacked drive chip).

You see how far they will go to get your money. One seller told me that he must sell fakes because there is no other way to sell products because the competition is so tough (in China). So this fake-thing is actually all our cheapos fault. Think about it deeper.

I usually buy the real ones, but then comes the times when you run out of budget and do the wrong decisions.

I also would not spend the bucks to ship it back. Contact the FBI. Warn Ebay that they are a front for the fraud, and that your contacting the FBI.
I'd also mention that they are endagering there customers, and reputation.

I asked mr. sausage if his gyro was a fake, he sent me this answer.
針對物品編號 220671697507 提出問題,結束時間為 2010-10-20 01小時04分18秒–FUTABA GY401 Gyro+S9254 T-Rex 600 Raptor FREESHIP

He closed the auction, changed his pictures to make it harder to see the obvious fake, and lowered his price.

Thanks guys for your advice, I will see if I can find the "check box" to escalate, but I'm noticing EVERYTHING seems to be a mighty uphill struggle on ebay and that's what's really angering me.
EBAY make a ton of money every second of every day OUT OF US, Joe Public and yet WE are getting fobbed off at every turn in this case where we are clearly the victim.
I can lose the money and I'll live, but the bad feeling is going to stay with mefor a long while...

i'm sure they work like any cheap hh gyro. that is to say, tail steady in a hover and ff but easy to blow out during any somewhat advanced maneuvers.

I for one have not even tried it...the point is I paid for a Futaba. I know I/we were looking for a bargain too far perhaps, but that doesn't justify us being screwed over by the Chinese and then ignored by ebay. I am not prepared to put my faith and safety in a manufacturer that from the outset is trying to deceive their customer base...

The check box should appear within 7 to 10 days if you haven't worked things out with the seller. Either way they are just going to give you a bogus address in the PRC. So pretty much yah ... they win. I'll let everyone know what the result is of my complaint emails to ebay about them refusing delivery. Ebay pretty much doesn't want to talk to me because they know they can't solve my problem within the rules they have written.

Really any Futaba gyro that is shipped from China is almost certain to be a fake.

They never accepted the package. If anyone wants this thing for research purposes PM me and if it comes back I will mail it to them for postage only.

Also, just so everyone knows ... I had to complain to ebay for them to issue the refund after I noticed the package wasn't being accepted at sender.

This is why I have decided to not buy any electronics from China, unless the exact seller has been used before with good results.

The guy had a lot of good feedback. That is the only reason I actually trusted them. I still lost 30$ on the deal. I really should have sent them a postcard and just let them reject that. Then i could have kept the servo wires.
