yeah you would just take the two wires you need, most likely the outer two but one would need to check - shimples

then no balancing though unless you run a dual plug setup like the bigger lipos

rusty,

Brushless motor connector. Three wires.

Stock batt. No balance tap. Two wires.

I don't think people would've complained, with a BL motor there is plenty of power.

Wonder if they made a micro circuit board and it digitally interfaces with the charger.. that divvies up the charge and balances.. they have to have something.. an unbalancable 2s is dangerous and short lived.. risks they won't pass on..

Kev,

All the more reason to order some Hyperions or TPs for this bird....

What I'm trying to figure out is how one adjusts the CG, as there doesn't appear to be much (if any) room to the pack fore & aft. Would suck if one couldn't compensate for different pack weights by repositioning the pack.

^to both the above posts

So it seems like
1: You'll go through a lot of batteries

2: You can only use HH batteries if you want to maintain flight performance

...and the plot thickens...

I've already got 3 of the 1s 45c 325 TPs and 3 of the 2s 45c 325's on order..

I'm sure we can figure out something regarding the CG.. we are all fart smellers.. and HH wouldn't be so dumb (I pray) as to leave it so narrowly configurable, and to choke off the aftermarket battery world, which includes their companies & distributorships.. (TP)

Rcbabbel - that's odd... Watch the video preview, you can clearly see a three wire plug on the battery and he mentions the "new plug".
