do futaba or hitec radios have their own special codes or signal codes?

dear members,
do futaba or hitec radios have their own special area(country)codes or signal codes?one of my friends said that especcially futaba has area or country area codes which prevents it to use otherv countries or lands.for example I live in Turkey if I buy a radio from USA OR europe or hongkong can I use this radio?thank you for your interest.

Futaba has area codes in so far as support/upgrades for the top end TX.
Hitec Nil.
