That's a lot of snow CG - we have more than usual here too, but not near that much. I'm tired of clearing the snow off the deck, but it's the 20+ degrees below normal temps that I'm really getting tired of. Another sub -20 morning today, but at least its better than this time last week when it was -37.

I usually bring my deck furniture out when the thaw seems here to stay, but that almost guarantees we'll get at least one more cold blast and snowstorm.

Oh well, hopefully my FPV system from Tim will be in this week, give me something to do indoors till we get some flying days, nothing in the forecast looks good for flying yet though..

I feel pretty blessed to have had the chance to get out and fly Saturday, in the higher country around my area there is still plenty of snow on the ground too.

Looks wonderful out today, too bad the nasty thing called "work" has to rear it's ugly head every Monday.

We'll all be looking for new video from balsabuster today!

Try putting your jacket over your head, all the cool people are doing it.

Na, I'll just dig a tunnel in the snow....Man there was so much snow, street wasn't open til 1 PM: Imagine a BIG loader with a BIG snow blade, having to push the snow on the banks on the side of the street every 300 feet or so or the BIG loader would get stuck

Oh, and the big loader came just AFTER my snowblower guy had opened my driveway

I had a little more Slow Stick video from Saturday, before the nasty "camera tilt" incident. Gives you snow bound Canadians something to look at.
SS low and Slow (9 min 46 sec)

I see you kept the jacket where it belongs this time

This little plane would be fun flying in groups with others, all FPV ! FPV formation flying with 3 or 5 planes with head trackers would be fun.

That would be fun.

It got progressively sunnier out during the day, wasn't bright enough out to hinder the goggles yet.

I wish some of those low clouds would've been closer...

Going into is one thing, getting out is another ! With no ground reference if the clouds are everywhere, it could be tricky without OSD ans GPS to find your way home.

But we are going to try it, aren't we (carefully or not) ?
