Going to my parents this weekend. Weather is bad so I won't bring the plane, but I sure will do some FPV there this summer. This place is great to bring back nice pics and videos:

She is very tolerant... also wasn't home at the time...

Put the slowstick on the scales, 24 oz ready to fly, from what I've read that is nothing for it to carry. I've heard of them in the 42 oz range.

Started to put a wiring harness together for the Seniorita, found enough parts and pieces from the HK stuff to make one complete connector for the transmitter. I'm trying to set things up so I can easily swap the transmitter and OSD from the slow stick to the Seniorita... until I can afford it's own gear. I do have the DIY 5.8 equipment from RV, maybe it could go in the SS.

Good flying day, lots of video. Did a bone-head noob mistake, almost cost me the SS.

Looks like I've picked up a little static of some kind since I rewired it. Maybe from adding the OSD? Oh well, something else to figure out. This video was recorded with my Aiptek, it is raw unedited, sorry for the pauses of not much going on. Everything was going well, I was using a lot of pan/tilt, some how I managed to tilt the camera all the way down and didn't realize it or just got so engrossed in the scenery that I'd forgot I'd done it. You can see things starting to awry at about 6:15. The camera angle makes me think I'm headed down when I really wasn't. Acted like I didn't have enough elevator, when in actuality I was level but kept pulling the nose up to get the camera up to the horizon. So I ended up in a series of stalls, you can hear me adding throttle to try and bring the nose up. Dumb mistake but didn't hurt anything. Was really nice to be able to steer it on the ground.

Art, you're not the only one. Lots of glitches on my flight today. (more than yours). Coincidence? (my mic is not working. Not hooked up? Haven't checked it out yet).

Art, remember that your prop should be seen in the upper half of the screen, unless you're fooling around.

(an FMA Direct Co-Pilot would prevent the "bone head" phenomenon from happening).

Interesting... did sound like there is some sound from motor/esc.
My stsatic seemed to be related to motor speed, maybe those solar flares they've been talking about?
