Doing night missions ! Kids sleep at that hour The lights on the summit work well. May add a couple of led flashlight. The security 2000 cam is very good: I went in the trail near the house and it is not lighted at all. Could see some stars I really have to do some night fly next summer. Meanwhile, driving the summit is way cool (but not cold, driving from inside is very comfy )

i was just gonna go home after doing some indoor flying and letting a bunch of 10 year olds try FPV through my goggles, but now you've done it, charging the batteries and gonna do some night flying with the hex

i just discovered my hex puts extreme fear into my dog, she hid behind the garage while i was flying it tonight in the dark with the bright lights on

this can only lead to further abuse of my dog....

i had a few extra beers last night and couldn't be bothered to do a proper mix, voila i found the 'templates' and had fun! lol.... gonna try them out more in the future, there are some fun ones there

Depends: can it be wrong if I'm drinking on the couch in front of the TV while I drive the Summit outside ?

Snow is now hard as ice here after some warm weather and rain followed by cold temp. Can drive everywhere again ! Fun times

Will try a run in the walking trail in the center of town tonight, should not be much people with the cold around -17 °C. Summit and FPV system found to behaves well in cold weather after a 10 minutes run during lunch today, so should not be a problem. The lipos let me run for almost an hour.

It has been snowing around here but unfortunately I am on a mission tomorrow. I hope this will stick until Sunday so I can get a snow flight.
Work has gone manic since the start of the year, no real time for hobbies ...

That's why a horn is in the plan. Some put a siren. A walkie talkie is in the plan too so I can say to the stoler how I feel about him...and that the truck has a recording device and a tracking device.

I was even considering getting a 900Mhz set for the transmitter as it would be less susceptible to ground obstacles....

You really should all have a ground FPV vehicle. When you need to FPV but time is limited to take the car (1:1 scale) to the flying field and set everything up, just plug batteries, throw the FPV vehicle out the front door and drive. It's soooo easy. You certainly all have a park nearby or some sidewalks or even a nice backyards to drive onto.

Also, never been so easy to check what your neighbor bought for a patio set. I'm telling you guys, this is as addictive as FPV flying.

I really need to have someone get into FPV so we can fly/drive together !

Bit the bullet and ordered a 9x. Hope I can relocate the dial on top to the sides and make them sliders so i can control the pan and tilt. This will be my new FPV Tx. has the v2 programming. May mod it later to er9x firmware.

Also got the light kit and a 2500 mAh lipo. Should not charge often and should fly loooooooong flights. Or drives.
