Oh yea right ! Sorry, I must have asked that queston a couple of times already ...its just that we don't see it fly often. You should do more FPV vids they are fun to watch with the 2 cams.

Nice vid of the chase. Will be easier with FPV, thats one thing I want to do this summer, filming the other planes at the club...if they're not too scared of it

5.8G, yes.
I'm going to source some smaller gauge wire however.

GWS steerable tailwheel

My brother (pkfoamer) sent this in an email. Thought I'd post it.

I used a propsaver for the collar on the "pushrod" since it is the only thing I had laying around that had a screw that fit. A smaller collar would even work better since it would shorten the distance from the pushrod to the servo horn. This one is working fine for me. I have a fairly strong tailwheel assy since I dont want it to bend far enuf to bash the camera on the ground!

Note the way the tailwheel lever slides in the slot cut in the servo arm.
Pretty neat!

Should go try the Stryker with FPV gear tomorrow. 10 MPH wind, 5C, sunny. At the field it means boots, winter coat, scarf, transmitter mitt, hot soup after the flying session. Gotta love RC flying and FPV don't you think

I'll try to make you a good video but don't eat all the oreos in the box...

Will you go on a "find whats the white thing is" mission ?

Take it slow and easy with that Striker! Don't want the video to be too exciting... for now anyway.

Just might have to do a "white thing" mission, will have to see. I believe there are a number of pplanes out there that have never been found.

Don't worry, I want to bring it back in one piece. Plan is:

1- Range test with video gear
2- One 10 min flight LOS while recording video, get used to heavier plane
3- If all good, one 10 min flight with the Haier (more if needed)
4- If all good, goggles flights
5- Unfreeze, soup and coffee
6- Edit video to give an excuse for popcorn lovers

Plane is ready, thinking of trying the keychain on the nose and on one of the fins.
