New Toys

I got's new Toy's!!
I recieved the recommended SC2000 cam....what an awesome picture!....can't wait to get this one airborne!, I also picked up H-kings 12 buck OSD, it works just dandy now I can watch as I kill a battery live! lol.

I am just saying that the videos we record while flying FPV (I usually record with the Aiptek and the keychain camera) make for a lot of data to go through when back home. I was asking if you ever added (counted) how much amount of video recording you are bringing home each time. I find it is a lot more than with the regular 5 to 10 min flight with a keychain. My FPV flights are usually 15 to 20 minutes with 2 cameras.

Oh boy, new stuff is fun!

I can give you the model # of my aiptek when I get home, mine will stop recording however, if the video signal gets too bad. Hey Chuck... do you remember the model#?

Another great video Art... I still don't think im seeing the "white thing" but I do need new glasses...

Dracono, Mine is a Aiptek 5800N CB it records D1 720p

I couldn't help myself and got a pair of Cloverleafs... Yes, I need help... laugh... I forgot I had the HK EOSD... I should of hooked it up yesterday while having my fun... Well since I have another day at home... I'm gonna try and get the plane ready. Not going to be as easy with my bum foot...

CP antennas for 900 mhz? Are they really BIG?

If you are doing some experimenting, maybe you could hook up the HK OSD to the video input of the aiptek to see if it generates a video signal without a transmitter? I was wondering if connected to a GS, if it would keep the aiptek recording through heavy static?

Thanks, I know they are a lot of the same thing, but I'm a noob in training and I need the practice.

What my plan for the future is to fly precision, figure 8's, touch and go's etc. I do have some "excursions" planned away from the field however. Probably will continue to push the planes out further to see what they can do.

If you look at time 10:38 (slo-mo) and look directly above the left most "1" on the OSD, you'll see the "white thing", it's just a small blip at this altitude.

I don't think they are really big... the width is about equal to the length of a dollar bill... and the height is about half that length... Sorry about that, it's the only standard measurement thing that I have around me... I'll take a pic when I grab the camera next time I get up (bum foot)...

I'll try the osd thing sometime and let you know...
