BTW the best scan format for me is TIF but any other normally used type will suffice. File conversion is quick and easy. File cleaning up (despeckling) can take an age but I have sometimes had to do this on a really poor image showing rips, tears and pieces of sticky tape. Most images are recoverable but sometimes the effort required is enormous. Apart from the shading and distortion on the scans of the Zephyr, which are easily solvable if you remove the page from the magasine, your images look OK to convert with little extra work.

Perttime has already received high resolutions scan of the Zephyr and told me that they are worth working on, I also sent the scan of the central part with no shadows or distortions.
I'll send high resolutions jpgs as soon as I reiceve your e-mail.
I have other plans...............

By the time I got the Zephyr down to a size that I can post here, I was losing some of the detail...

I THINK the plan is to a correct size. Piecing the plan from three parts, I had some difficulties making the parts match. It isn't perfect...
Someone else might do better.

I like the style of the Jose Carioca. I'm pretty sure a modernized version of the Kamacc (for 4 stroke engine etc.) is somewhere in this thread (I'm sure it can be found at HPA and Outerzone)

I'm not quite happy with it. Do check dimensions and alignments before committing...

gghisleri here they are as pdf files from the scan you sent me. I have split the scan into two files to reduce individual file size, straightened the frame and tried to clean up as best I can. There was a lot of bleed through from whatever image was on the other side of the paper and I cannot sharpen the image any more because the original image is not at a high enough resolution. Perhaps this is because it was a plan reduced in size to fit the page of a magasine. I normally use 300dpi if I have the full sized plan but sometimes go up to 500dpi for reduced plans printed in magazines.
I will send you the jpg and tif versions via email because they are too large to post on RC Groups.

gghisleri,
do you have dates or years for the Jose Carioca and Kamazz?
Also, I don't see a size reference in the plans, except for wheel and wood sizes. Span, or some other large measurement would be good for confirming correct scaling.

The Jose Carioca plan seems to say that the outer wing is 5cm shorter.

There were no control dimensions for me to work with so I could not scale the plan.

I have this plan also for Camach, can't say nothing about Josè Carioca even if I built it when I was 17, 51 years ago.
The original jpg is worth 5 Mb.
Yes, the outer wing is 5 cm shorter.
The caption on this drawing says that Luciano and Camach were Italian Champion in 1961.

Kevin Wright of Australia has just produced CAD plans for a pretty famous design:
Stanislav Cec's 1983 European Championship winning UNO F2B stunter.
http://controlline.org.uk/phpBB2/vie...=8115&start=15

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""
Some time ago I started on a set of CAD plans for Stanislav Cec's UNO F2B stunter. Many thanks to those who sent me drawings.

I've been sidetracked for a while but have now completed the plans to
my satisfaction and commenced constuction.

Note I have Stanislav Cec's approval to make these plans available.

"""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""""

If I interpret the plan correctly, it is done with a detachable wing.

Ciao gghisleri !

I played a little with your small scan of the semi-scale Macchi Folgore fighter plans...
...and produced the .pdf file added below.

Overall wingspan is stated as being 1450mm - which should be exactly 57" as near as makes no difference.
(about 8/100ths of an inch)

That's what I have it at - 57" wingspan.
Even with that image as it is - there is quite some work needed to add to it the detail required to construct a model from it

Keven.

Are there any plans posted here for the modern combat wings?
I'm from the Flight Streak Fox .35 era.
I'm badly out of touch with CL and would like to get back in.
I'm presently building a Peace Maker to get back into U/C.
Thanks
John
