In the Flying Models Decade of Plans the Sleekser is credited to Earl Cayton ad was originally published in the Flying Models, August 1955.

Either my PDF 100% scale is actually 143%, or yours is 70%. I just checked mine against the calibration scale on the Ringmaster a few pages back. It's the same.

Perhaps you'd like to measure it using your system?

This is what I mean. The attached pdf is of the Dutchess plan off the Hippocket site. I measure the dimensioned 2.25" diameter of the wheel as 2.25".

I measure the same wheel on your scan at 70% of that.

I must admit I'm a bit confused by what's been going on with the conversion to PDF Ray.
On checking the Bitmap plan on my PC screen the 2 1/4" wheels were right on size. This is in Adobe CS3, when I save the image as a PDF there was a change in scale and I didn't know which one was right!
Seems I chose the wrong one to believe bugger it!

I just down loaded the plan you listed and on my screen it measures 3"
I'm going to have to investigate this further and find out if it's my screen setting, some factor in the conversion from Bitmap to PDF or whatever else may be causing this!
Any suggestions appreciated.

Design is by JIM and DAVE LEDDY and it's aimed it at C/L beginners to encourage younger modellers and give them some fun.

Now here's one you don't see every day - Flapjack, a rolling control liner.

Sorry about the quality, but the original I had to work from was small. Pdf quality is better due to site restrictions on jpg files.

Here's another I recently rediscovered when trawling through old drawings. It was featured in an Aeromodeller Magasine special late 70s I think. The original print was a fold out which I pieced together for scanning.

I like the simple wing. It doesn't say what motor. .35 or .15? I think a 30" span would be a .15, or less.
