Cirie
Excellent

(claps hands in excitement )

I had saved a photo of the Cirie because it looked so cool. At the same time, I saved pics of a couple of others: Flash, Hekla, and Pitu (I think).

Going off on a web rampage, inspired by the latest posts, I ran across some more pictures of Franco Ballesio designs ... and a plan for his Vortice (!!!) at
http://www.retroplane.net/forum/view...r=asc&start=75

(if you go there, do browse the entire thread )

The thread also contained plan and article for W.J. Stoker's Gougar. I'm not quite sure if the Cougar plan is already here: looks like Hogal's work ???

Something from USSR. Many beutiful designs were produced there too. Here's a design by Aleksandr Listopad. I think I got the image enlarged very close the correct size.
File name says 1985. The attached photo is some years earlier.

The plan does NOT include parts templates: they'd have to be figured out from the overall plan.

http://discovery-aeromodels.com/ has a smaller plan image of a Listopad design: similar lines but different dimensions.

!/2 A team race article

Would anyone have access to the June 1962 issue of 'Model Aircraft' magazine published in Britain. Gordon Cornell wrote an article on engine tuning for 1/2 A engines and it was to be published in that issue.

I would very much like to read the article.

Cheers Mike

Mike,

Gordon's still around and writing articles. I have a folder full of stuff in another computer relating to him and 1/2A TR but it all came from this link anyway. This includes the article you were after.

Also try:

Just a little note about some plans availability. The old Model Buiilder had more than a few CL models. Bill Northrup, former editor and the owner of most of the plans published in the mag, died in May this year. Seems his wife, Anita, is still going to be selling the plans, according to the retrospective in the Dec 2012 Model Aviation. The number is 702-896-2162. Call between 1 to 5 PM PST.
That said, I managed to find a few more plans. A couple mags fell between the floorboards in my crawl space.

Red Arrows.

Hi.
Sippy asked for a copy of the Red Arrows Hawk control line plan from the November 1983 Aeromodeller.

So here it is.

Cheers

If it's of any use here is the Red Arrows Hawk plan again as a one piece.

I have it in various file formats but they are either too large for here or not supported. PM if you want.
