Two FAI team Racers plus article on team racing in USA with outline drawings of various models in the series by the two designers featured. I have scanned the page with the drawings at 400dpi if anyone wishes to enlarge amy of the designs to full size.

Hi All,
Scanned through all the plans but did not find it so. . . .

Does anyone have a copy of the plan for the Pinnacle F2B model sold by Performance Kits of Coventry in the early 1960's?

Any help tracking this one down gratefully received.

Many thanks in advance

TTFN
John.

Ratracer,
Thanks for offering to post the P47D, that's a plan I've been looking for it for a while now.

From Model Aircraft September 1962

Firefly 57" span semi scale stunt model C/L

bit of a strange one this the plan is printed in two parts and Model Aircraft were notorious for odd scale of plans so the two plans may not even been printed to the same scale. Even worse I would assume that as it had a counterweight that the two wing halves would be the same so using 28.5 as half the span and scaled up using this figure. Fuselage length is supposed to be 43" but is this from front of spinner to end of tailplane?, front former to tailplane? or front former to rear former? ect. It just about makes it rom spinner to tailplane, using any other of the combinations results in the wing mounting being too big.
But wait there's more. As the wing is split on the plan I decided to join it and work from there. The cut part fits almost perfectly but the outer wing is now one panel short so now to fit the wing mounting to the wing make the fuselarge even shorter. Any of you avid control liners have any clues.?
I have posted the plans as published with half wing at 28.5" this plan also has the text and with the wing joined at 57" and one panel short on outer wing (plan V2 ) no text

Found on Outerzone:

"""
Blue Pants - 37in span CL stunter, designed by H Stouffs. Winning stunt model at the 1954 World Championships. From Aeromodeller, January 1955. This is a modern CAD redrawn plan.
"""
I'm not quite sure if the 1954 contest should be considered World Champs, but it is a classic in any case.

I'm also attaching a pic of a particularly nice one (IMO), for reference.

This is a gorgeous Fiat G.55 stunt model. Do you have a way to scan it so perhaps the plans could become available to others?

I have 2.16 and 1.6 megabits jpg, the best my scanner can do, and can send them by mail.
The magazine they come from is very little, 24x17 cm format.

So, that's a no-go on the Walt Musciano P-47D plans?
