I'm using a 150-160watt Hi-Max 2812-850 on my GWS Slow Stick using an APC 12 by 6 Slo Fly prop,and just a 10amp ESC that could handle up to 14amps,which happened to be the peak amps on the motor for 15 seconds.

Plenty of power for the GWS,but I don't know if it'll be powerful enough for the SSXII or the kind of power that I like?

Anyone used this motor?

It wont be spectacular but it should work. I just don't think you will have power to hover.
