Exactly! The irony in this thread is off the charts. The side that cries for peace, love and understanding will apply it to anyone but a Christian.

Pray tell us (irony intended) why you don't see the moral/intellectual equivalency of non-believers thinking believers are fools and/or knaves on one hand, and believers insisting non-believers are evil people destined for Hell on the other.

Tit-for-tat, as far as I can see.

Believers that up the rhetoric like that deserve the response. IMHO, that would be a small fraction of the believers though. Most live and let live yet are still ridicluled for their belief.

The irony here is that two wrongs make it right, as there's plenty of well documented ridicule and sarcasm coming from the believers.

Thank you for the post. Whilst I am not particularly religious, I have noted an increasing vehemence on the part of some anti religionists. I do not feel it is productive or warranted. Freedom of religion IS a fundamental right of man.

Two wrongs don't make a right, but three rights make a left (according to J. Edgar Hoover)...

If you believe in 'God' - there is one - if you don't believe in gods (small g) there isn't!

Both are absolutely and undoubtedly equally correct!

Being Christian and being religiouos are two seperate issues. Remember, the Pharisees and Saducees were all very religious.

Don't need a link. It's my right as a human being to think for myself. The First Amendment does protect that right to a certain extent, and the Constitutional prohibition of a religious test for public office does as well...
