I miss president Bush, Things would be better if....?

If he were still president things would be far better both in the job market and in the economy wold wide.

One of the reasons things went south so badly was because it was easily foreseen that a tax/legislation heavy leadership was about to take control due to the attacks on America and the inevitable wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Oh and promise for free everything....
Iran and Pakistan are looming still... same with North Korea and even China.

I miss the Bush years and am very unhappy with our current elected leadership.

Same here. It will take some serious belt tightening and much better feeling towards our government before prosperity returns. H's policies has everyone with money (read that job creators) in a holding pattern.

I only have to look an my past tax statement numbers to find truth.
And the future only looks grim at best.

We have a lecherous mentality ruling both houses of our government.

A better example of cognative dissonance is unlikely to be found. Your second paragraph is one of the funniest things I have read around here in a while.

Perhaps a little memory jogger is in order. TARP I was enacted by bush and his team. At the end of his term we were loosing jobs at an incredible rate and the economy was about to implode. You miss this guy? Since Obama took office the job loss rate dramaticly decreased and your tax rate is at all time lows. But lets not reality get in the way of your hatred for all things Obama.

Mind if my taxable earnings records and feel good about the future come in to play?

Enjoy your shell game.

He is one of the great American Presidents and made the needed call with a chaotic table of crisis. (blamed for the weather mind you)

Obama is a "blame it on the other" guy, Mr. Bush was so beyond doing that.

Just a total difference of leadership. Obama is not a leader he's a campaigning composite or composition with a boat load of handlers and strings attached.
Kind of a twentieth century Pinocchio wanna be US Citizen savior.

Nothing more.... ever.
Bush had all the stuff of real presidential Character.

He recognized and acted accordingly to real evil against America.
Bimba just goes into campaign mode for more money everytime there is a test.

You don't know "my own" and you hide yours for sure.

Right, these are your feelings and they ignore the facts that are before you. Your first two paragraphs talk of things that are refuted by the facts on the ground. I have absolutely no problem whith you choosing to base your bad feelings about the future on nostalga for what could have been even though facts would seem to prove otherwise. Have at it.

The historcal record of bush's 8 years and Obama's first are no shell game. You had everything you wanted for 8 years. It ended in shambles and you want it back?

I wouldn't be too smug about this ... Bush was only slightly better than Obama ... and by slightly I mean like how one black eye is better than two black eyes ...

Bush loved you too, Bilbo, afterall, you forgave him for being a failed business owner, recovered drunk and drug abuser, failing to fullfil his military commitment, and yet you still managed to elect him president at least once legally were he managed to involve you in two military quagmires, one of which was illegal by all but the most wackjob interpretations of international law. He couldn't have done that without you!

Btw, if your taxes are up you must be doing better financially now than you were under Bush ... thought you should know.
