[RCSE] Abuse@hotmail.com

Has anybody else received messages from Abuse@hotmail.com
<mailto:Abuse@hotmail.com> while posting to RCSE, if so how does it end.
Probably just received two more.

TIA

Yes - several times, but not for every post.

I've been getting two per post... I analyzed the problem and posted what I
thought about it, but that post was censored.

Yes, someone subscribed the address, I will try to unsusbscribe it, but it
may have to be removed by Michael.......

Re: [RCSE] Abuse@hotmail.com

I setup a filter and put all mail from abuse@hotmail in the trash.

Maybe somebody should just unsubscribe ALL hotmail users. Gotta be a lot
of dead accounts anyway. Legitimate users can easily subscribe again.

RE: [RCSE] Abuse@hotmail.com

Odds are that it is not someone subscribed directly to the list, but rather
someone subscribed to one of the reflectors (egroups/yahoo & others). The
reflecters are problematic because people don't remember how they subscribed
and get angery when the "standard unsubscribe" requests to the main list
fail to work. I'm tempted to unsubscribe the reflectors one at a time to
see if I can at least determine which one has the account forwarding to the
abuse@hotmail address.

Re: [RCSE] Abuse@hotmail.com

NOOOOO!!! hehe. I've noticed that the RCSE mailing program keeps track of
active accounts. If I neglect my hotmail inbox for more then a couple of
days, it fills up and refuses new messages. At that time, the RCSE mailer
automatically unsubscribes me and I have to re-subscribe.... so taking out
all hotmail accounts would be a bad thing.
