MarkV Special Operation Craft
Hello guys I have unfinished 3 project and I start new one
 anyway I want to share my newbuild MarkV SOC Boat I don't have a plan but I was start to measure some pictures and computer drawings. I decided to build 23 inches long there are progresing pictures enjoy.Best regards

It boggles my mind, how you did this just from photos!
Anyway, very cool watercraft, and a great looking model so far.

Great job. I like to work from pictures too (push tug).
I hope that you plan to use jet drives. I think that a pair of the small Graupners would be perfect. |

Hello guy's thanks for comment for all. I have no secret for start this boat
I was searching all around internet and I just find some pictures and some computer drawings. I didn't find set of plans there are some drawings on the Hodgdon yatchs but not exactly the same one looks like skinny one I can post for reference.I guess boat info classified  I dont want to make any complication for jet drive I am willing to use one motor and direct drive shaft for prop. Orijinaly have jet drives. I realy measure the lengt then make some larger copy desired size then start to working on the frame. I have make many mistakes but I try to correct them. I used bass wood sticks several different shapes I leave them in water to give curves.Thanks to CA glue working on wet surface. I use also 1/16 Birch ply for planking and some 1/8 birch ply for other parts.Bass wood sticks are very handy for working. CB90 Boat also nice but next time maybe I find plans when I seach thanks again. I will post next time more pictures. Best regards for all. |
