Today I got the retracts I ordered ....

Adapted the gear related ribs and got the parts done...

Works pretty nice for a 90 Retract ... but it is also bit heavy...

Weight

Harpye, what is the weight of the retracts? They look strong enough. Are they from Lindinger catalogue?

Don't know if Lindinger would also sell them ... Mine are bought @ a smaller Shop in Nortern Germany ( RC - Weidenbach.de ) they were very cheap ( 13,x Euro / pair).. But they are rather heavy ( 65gram per module and the whole thing ( including servo and structure is about 140 gram) ( it is specified as a 3 KG servo... but it was the smallest 90 Servo I was able to find!!!

Such retracts are very rare. I didn't see them in the local shops. What the total weight of the plane is going to be?

Difficult due to the weight of the retract modules rather heavy - I guess about 1.2 to 1.3 KG

I was looking for this thread as reference material and wondered why this project was stalled?
Any progress or did you abandon this project?
