Heres a new KATO Almost ready for flight

Just built this KATO for a buddy of mine, it's almost to nice to sell, it should come out too about 20 oz, it gonna be a ripper, gonna test it tomarrow at Dave's beach. sorry accidently locked the thread, it's open now

finished it this morning, test flew it at dave's beach, perfect maiden, balanced out just right, gave it the full flight test, inverted, rolls, loops, speed, and some seagull chasing, I think the owner will be quite happy with it.

Nice looking wing there!!! I saw Justin's smiley-face KATO flying around at the floater fun-fly, did pretty good considering it was 7-8mph!

What I'm curious about is what is the AUW and how do you turn it on-off??

i've been out of the loop for a while, don't remember all the terms used or abbreiviations for terms, sorry, can you explian AUW, it's just not easy for me to remember the meaning, how about a little reminder.

that's what I thought, Thanks. I guess I'm getting old and my memory get's worse every day, I think I need another beer,
not sure on the AUW, haven't tested it yet, I estimate going off of my plane at 24 oz, around 28-32 oz maybe, I know justin's plane was built with light gear and came in at 19 oz, all the planes I've built for others came in at 20 oz

Mr Robert bought 2 kits today, so well be seeing his soon and I got another order for an ARF, I'll have to come up with a good covering scheme, I think I'll do the flames again but a different color

Your memory is the 2nd thing to go and you forgot what the 1st thing was

We can put that new wing on a the scale before it starts getting dirty
