Just to let you guys know I made a couple battery packs for my car using the HK Zippy 400mah 20c cells. And they fit and work great for this car crazy speed and good runtime is what I am seeing.

Hey Earthling1984, I didn't know you were a member here. I've been watching your videos, they're really cool and informative. They're also crystal clear. I like the way you show the speeds of the trucks, when they are stock, to let people know what they're looking at out-of-the-box. The 1/24 with the micro dt was funny. I am looking forward to seeing how fast you get your mini desert buggy to go with a lipo, as you have the same motor as I have in mine the insane.

Well, keep up the vids, I enjoy watching them with a cup of tea.

So I just got the Rally and my Bro got the SCT. The SCT out performed it in everything we threw at it. Faster acceleration, higher top end, and greater manuverability due to the increased approach angles.

To his credit, he did run a few more batteries through his than mine so I am hoping mine breaks in a little more.

Anyone else see this?

just picked up the truck in black. gonna beat it up for a little bit to see if it holds up well and then try the lipo/brusless mods. if all goes well and the kids keep interested, there will be 2 under the tree this year.

I noticed it as well. I thought it was my set. I have tried all the trick stuff to the rally (loosening up the mesh on the pinion and the lugs on the wheels) and the SC still kicks its butt.....

FlyHeli (Rich), I have a few questions for you.

What is the large round thing (capacitor maybe?) mounted on the side?

What batteries are you using?

How did you get the servo saver mounted?

So the SCT is Faster..Better..Stronger? I was lead to believe they were exact cars except for the body mounts..... I really want the Rally Car body..maybe I should get the SCT and change the mounts and wheels to Rally.... they look the same under the hood..why would SCT be faster and better handling?
