A question about the UM T-28. When I got mine, new from my LHS it didn't come with any extra velcro or hook for another battery. Are they not packing that in any more or could it have been removed by the dodgey staff at the LHS? I called and asked and they said they knew nothing about extra battery velcro and to just buy some from Bunnings (hardware).

Sorry to hear you did not get the extra velcro strip like I got with mine, but don't despair. You'll need more than the one you were supposed to get anyway, so hop on down to "Bunnings" and get a meter of it - you'll need it sooner or later!

K,

I was enjoying the scenery in this Champ vid but had to smile as the batt broke loose at the 2:30 min mark from a simple little 'bump-n-go'.

HK blue is the bomb!
Killer price too.

I've already bought some velcro but it's rubbish. The batteries fall off pretty easily. I'll get some of that blue stuff. I was just wondering if the staff were pilfering.

I've been reading this thread, called micro RTF T-28, and after a few replies it seems everyone is off on other subjects, different planes. How many does a guy have to read before he finds a T-28 micro one?
I bought my T-28 a couple of weeks ago, and after some tweeking, it flies great and I've been having a lot of fun. It flies in a pretty decent breeze for a little guy. I had to use the low rates on mine till I got used to it. It has the power and speed to deal with a breeze, and can penetrate well. I have yet to fly mine with the gear, but am sure looking forward to it.

Restless is right buy those HobbyKing 160's Oh out of stock! darn. But for 1.67 to 1.99 I've seen both prices listed? I have been running them for a month now. I get 8 to 9 minutes of touch and go's, indoors. Now if your flying outside? quess what? you will need more power! and you will get less flight times! It is not a 3D machine, ya want to hover buy a heli. ya want fast? take it in doors and open her up, she gets right along thank you.

Looks like restless deleted his post.

So I maidened the T-28 today. It was a bit too windy but it flew well. First time I've had a model up in many, many months.

Loves it but I was very dissapointed in the roll rate. Is there a way to improve that?

Also, what is the mode 1 and 2 on the remote all about?

Thanks!

Hey mate
If you open up the trojan you can move the aileron pushrods to the inner of the control horn... err, once you open it up and take a look its pretty hard to miss

Mode1 is throttle on the right and mode2 is throttle on the left
