Thanks for your reply. How to use the set button in your user manual is written? When I turn on the receiver, aileron servo are not takes its lowest position.

Hey Jonathan... My heli is in that 1/5 batch and I'm really looking forward to it. I just want to clarify... The latest batch with the new firmware corrects the tail servo failure issues? That seems to be a really common complaint among owners of the first couple generations of this heli.

I have sent my Tx settings to another member here and I thought it might help if I post them here.

Here are my settings:
Revers: Elev - Norm, Aile - Revs, Thro - Norm, Rudd - Revs, Pit - Norm
Subtrm: All "0"
Trvadj: All 100%
Swaats: Swashmix -> Elev - 70%
Aile - 70%
Pit. - 65%
Gyrhld: Gyrosens -> Gyro/Aux2 -> 0: 80%
1: 20%
DR&Exp: Elev -> Pos-0 ->D/R 100%
Exp +45%
Aile -> Pos-0 ->D/R 100%
Exp +45%
Rudd -> Pos-0 ->D/R 100%
Exp +35%
Curves: Thrcuve -> Norm: 0-25-90-95-100
St-1: 90-90-90-90-90
St-2: 100-100-100-100-100
Pitcurve -> Norm: 33.5-41-50-75-100
St-1: 0-25-50-75-100
St-2: 0-25-50-75-100
Hold: 0-25-50-75-100

That is what I am flying with and she is awesome. Make sure that you program a new model number (not changing an existing one). Also, follow the set-up of the gyro very carefully. The entire set-up must be done in order for the 3 axis gyro to work correctly. Hope this helps.

Sounds like she's a must buy! Hey Darryl, would you say she flies as good as your TRex450? Is the motor powerful enough and do the align blades fit in? Cheers!!

I see you have your Gyro 1 setting at 20%. Are you able to get the 2702V to work in a Rate mode?

IMO, she flies as good as my T450 FBL 3G set-up. The stock motor is surprisingly strong and is able to do 3D. I have done loops, rolls, flips, inverted, climbouts and tic-tocs with her. Not bad for an unmodified model from Walkera. It comes with Stealth CF blades so yes the Align mains will fit as well.

I only use this for set-up purposes only. Once I have the tail neutral and the feel is where I like it, I always fly in HH mode. Just my personal preference.

Can you post a video... We'd love to see it in action! There are only a few v450d01 vies out there right now and most are pretty old.

I will do what I can to get her to him for a "real" test. LOL.

I'm sure you're qualified enough to conduct a "real" test Darryl I meant more a "hardcore" test

So do you set up the tail pitch in Rate first (negative pitch)? Or do you just set up HH with zero pitch? It seems to work either way....

So, the tail hold perfect? Even in 3D? That's a rather great surprise... Sounds like Walkera is getting a hang of this industry and will push Align/Protos price down

Did the Align servos you used need to be reversed? I know the ones I have are reversed relative to the Walkera ones I have had. If you had to reverse the direction, the Gyro would need to be reversed too. There are switches on the 2702V to do this. When you tilt the heli, the gyro should tilt the swash in the opposite direction. If the Gyro needs reversing it will tilt the swash in the same direction as the heli is leaning which obviously will cause big problems.
And do not forget to interchange mechanically AIL/PIT servo when you switch ELEV R. gyro function, because that switch only affect the ELEV servo itself, not the function.
