Whats in your maintenance hangar right now? Lets give it a shot and see all of the different problems out there and help others solve their problems.

Plane: Flyzone Cessna 182 Select

Problem: Motor Mount needs to be reglued

How did it happen?: I think when it came in for a landing and it flipped that made it loose.

What you need to fix it?: CA Glue

I got nothing right now. Except a kit which I'm in the middle of building, but don't have the desire to finish (or the materials to).

SlowStick

Broken prop.

I've replaced all the servos, the esc, the motor, the receiver and the battery.

Still won't fly. Has a hell of a vibration.

Thinking of putting on a new prop to see if that helps.

I would try cutting the rudder in half, it can help lots. Also, remove half the wing.

I am putting together a 1/5 scale WACO YMF-3 and I have gotten to the landing gear. I have never been able to solder. I have had people tell me how to do it, I have read many articles on how to do it but every time I try I screw it up. A friend is going to come over this week and see if he can get it done.

Thanks, Xpress.... all it does now is flop around uncontrollably, and it just put a big gouge in my mother's moss covered three handled family credenza.

I have no serious repairs in progress but a few half-assembled or NIB kits and arfs lying around.

There's an Intern-66 that needs to be covered and finished. A 50% (55") electric Agri-Duck that's needed minor repairs since about... several months ago.

Now that summer's in full swing, I'm revisiting other long-forgotten hobbies like sailing and hiking, so planes aren't getting my full attention.

There's an Electrifly Seawind EP that will be finished in a week or two, in time for a week's vacation at a lakeside cottage.

I've got an Electrifly/Great Planes Spad in the hangar right now. I'm fairly new at this and my runway is a gravel road. Anyways, long story short, I have found that if I'm not perfect on my landings that the WWI planes tend to flip really easily!

On the last landing I flipped and tweaked the wings and cracked some balsa. I've got the replacement parts on the way so I hope to have it repaired soon. Once it's repaired I plan on practicing a bunch more before I take it back up and try landing it again.
