Stabilized power supply

Thanks for your help here.
I made it quickly to a power supply, the output of which is independent of the input voltage.
Stabilized power supply for FPV video transmitter and camera (0 min 54 sec)

Operation of the system was 6 inputs. But it is unfortunate when a 3S lipo is only 6V output.

Just wanted to share pictures of 2 Lawmate tx I got from different vendors.
Here is 2.4ghz 1w on the left and 1.2ghz 1w (new design) on the right side:

Has anyone flown that new version? (Sorry if it was already talked about) I don't read this tread each time it has updates.)

I'm not really sure if I'm right here.

But: I'm looking for a small V-TX (200 - 400mw) for upgrading my photocopter with FPV equipment. My RX is using these frequencies:
- 1.080
- 1.120
- 1.160
- 1.200
- 1.240
- 1.280
- 1.320
- 1.360 Ghz

Can someone recommend a cheap device?

Thanks,
Mike

Hello, i bought the Fox-800 from sunsky, but my 12ch vrx only seems to have 8 channels. Is there a mod or something for getting the last ones? From what i have read it should have 910mhz on one of the channels and thats what i need as im now using the vtx from the "do not touch" category.

This one?

It uses 1080Mhz + 3 other channels so normally you should find a channel matching one of the 8 on your Rx

For the channels available on your Rx there are noted here under Inesun Rx (1080 is the lowest available):

Thanks for your answer. But i dont think i made myself fully understood.
I have this http://www.sunsky-online.com/view/13...6+receiver.htm and it works great if i use the combo that was in the box.

But since im trying to save weight the included vtx was way to heavy. So i bough this, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wireless-Cam...item2ebf76a8f9
Inside the camera there is a transmitter that should transmit at 910Mhz according to a thread i found a while ago.

And in the manual that followed the fox it says at page 11 that the 12channel receiver starts at 0.910G and stops at 1.360G. But mine does not have 12 channels its only 8 if not some of them got the same number on the digital display. According to the manual the display should show a 0 when its at 910Mhz\0.910G. But mine start at 4 and goes 4,5,6,7,8,9,A,6, then 4 again. So i was wondering if theres a mod for getting channels 0-3. Or is my receiver just broken? I got a very bad picture while trying to see if it would work so one of the channels is seems really close to 910Mhz

Just remove the outer case of your VTx. That's how most of us use it.

Dunno why your Sunsky manual says it's a 12ch Rx. It's not.

Thanks! I ordered the 100mW version. I'm just looking for a range about 100-300m for using my photocopter. 100mW should be fine and and 19$ it should be worth a try.

But what is this for a strange antenna design? Do i have to change something for use it for FPV?

My bad i didnt purchase it from sunsky i think i got it at banggood or goodlucksell. Maybe theres a different manual. So even though its printed on the receiver its not really 12ch, that cant even be a chinglish mixup. Well i plan on modding the "do not touch receiver" anyways so hopefully it will be good enough. Hoping to use the fox-800 in a boat or something as its still to heavy without the casing(well actually the antenna at 23grams is whats really killing me). Maybe ill make a antenna if the "do not touch" gear doesnt cut it. Anybody knows the weight of the lightest antenna you can make for 1.2ghz? I see some have removed the rubber from the stock antenna that alone must save a ton of weight.

The lightest antenna you can make will have very poof performance.
The best way to maximize the performance of any of this gear, is to give
it a proper antenna. Best you can probably do is a Vee.

Ok i just assumed a crappy antenna would be good enough for around 1km if people go 2-3 out of the stock one. Any idea of what the vee weighs in at? Thanks for the help

a vee could be one of the lightest/best antennas you can use. my homemade vee did 5 miles in NYC with the stock antenna on the rx.

my friend makes antennas for me

he just solders on the right lenght of copper wire to the video tx
they work very well

my favorite is the 2.4 video tx lawmate 1 watt
it has nice thick copper wire that bends and can be straightened after landing

i position it under the plane pointing down

so all blocking stuff is above it

its a truely high performance video tx antenna
