I've not personally used a Lawmate Rx. I simply know that my
Sunsky FOX800 VTX + SAW filter modded Racewood Rx works really well, even when my UHF Tx is less than 1m from the VRX. I know that is simply not possible with any of the digital display Rxs, no matter what type of filtering is added. One thing I do remember was flying together with someone else who was using a Lawmate Rx. I was on 1360, and him on 1280, with both of us using FOX800 VTxs, and he complained about picking up my video signal much more often than I did his. That might just be the SAW filter mod, but I had much better results overall. ian |

Original DL V1 had minimal filtering on the Tx side. I think V1 upgrade actually
improved that. I don't know if Mike is still doing the upgrades, but may be worth looking into. It's certainly a good idea to upgrade V1 if you ever want to fly with any other UHF systems. Original V1 could at times clobber just about anything else in the air. ian |
