It's strange, I open a racewood VRx (from Dronevision) and it's the same COMTECH module inside.

I've not personally used a Lawmate Rx. I simply know that my
Sunsky FOX800 VTX + SAW filter modded Racewood Rx works really well,
even when my UHF Tx is less than 1m from the VRX. I know that is simply
not possible with any of the digital display Rxs, no matter what type of filtering is added.

One thing I do remember was flying together with someone else who was using a Lawmate Rx.
I was on 1360, and him on 1280, with both of us using FOX800 VTxs, and he complained
about picking up my video signal much more often than I did his. That might just
be the SAW filter mod, but I had much better results overall.

Which UHF radios, specifically?
Some have better filtering on the VTX (TSLRS, RL, DL) and some none at all (RmileC, Chainlink)

DL makes Lawmate Rx working on 1280mHz to flicker. Yes the "flickering" is less then with the stock RX(Digital).
That is in my case.

Just curious, which version DL? V1? V1 upgraded? V2?

V1 .

Original DL V1 had minimal filtering on the Tx side. I think V1 upgrade actually
improved that. I don't know if Mike is still doing the upgrades, but may be worth looking into.
It's certainly a good idea to upgrade V1 if you ever want to fly with any other
UHF systems. Original V1 could at times clobber just about anything else in the air.

You guys got it backwards

Remember Thomas is way ahead about filtering UHF stuff than all others selling UHF

This is reason dragon link as example copy Thomas with filters on the rx side in the plane

1.2. 2.4. Pixim cameras now can be close to UHF r x as other UHF vendors don't have new improved filters in UHF rx

Many have no idea of this but true

On the UHF tx side it just puts out UHF no filter needed


But video rx and antenna and goggles etc needs ferrites to improve video from UHF

UHF vendors do not sell or provide this protection from video tx interference

Don't get mixed up


This is reason to buy Thomas system as his is best
