I have one of the 4ch RX's above from them with upgraded saw filter, and quality looks rock solid. Now I'm in the market for a second RX for eagletree diversity hookup.

Wonder if it's worth just ordering another 4ch of the same type, or hook up a lawmate RX as secondary?

I also was thinking about going to the law mate ! I now have two of the mini tan 4 ch rx going to a eagle eyes for diversity only , with a modified patch and a yagi . Been out little over 6 miles , and today was able to watch my whole crash below the three line 1/2 mile away after talking to a few people don't think its worth going to the law mates ( also mine have the filters done also )

That Rx is generally referred to as the Racewood Rx and if it's the genuine article it has a
Comtech Rf module in it. It's what I've always used and with the SAW filter mod I think it's on par with the Lawmate Rx.
4 of the channels on the Sunsky FOX800 Tx match the 4 channels on the Racewood Rx.

Well, I was hoping there was another source for the 1.3Ghz Racewood RX, besides RMRC, so that's why I was curious. There has been much talk about these RXs sold elsewhere without comtech modules.

So far, I only know of 1 verified source for this, and that's:

One glitch I see there is they only list 4 available channels while FOX800 has 8 ch.
Dunno if that's a typo, or they've limited it for some reason.

They replied today and say it has 8 channels.

And when I add one of each it just lists my basket as 2 fox 800mw, but crap they only take payment via bank transfer.

That's fairly common for EU businesses. For consumers it's roughly equiv to writing a check, but
too big of a hassle to deal with from the US. I usually just order direct from Sunsky, and
then dig through their site and add some other interesting items, to make the shipping
cost worthwhile.
