Top-Flight P-40 .60 Size ARF

Been waiting for this bad boy for a while now. Just need a set of lado's and I'll be ready to go. I'll be doing an electric conversion on this one.

ok now that you have one does there appear to be a hidden hatch for battery removal just forward of the canopy?

What are you planning to use for power? When I first saw the release of this I also considered it. I will be watching this thread with interest.

Nope. No hatch that I can tell. I think it would be difficult to fab one as well as the fg nose cowl is quite long (unlike the P-51 ARF).

I plan to use the same setup that I had in the TF Mustang ARF - Scorpion 4025-12, 6S 5000mAh, 15x10 prop, CC ICE 100.

This should scoot her along well.

I think that someone did a great conversion on the 90 size Kyosho Spitfire .They build a battery box on the firewall behind the motor mounts . THen they cut a slot in the bottom cowl to access and quick change the batterys . You dont see them and you dont need to remove the wings

Paul,

Get one! Best P-40 ARF I've seen to date.

I just keep likeing this plane --even the cowl flaps are slightly open , so many times this is advoided in models and the bottome cowl /fuse lacks depth as a result .
This is just way tooo cool .
I am going Monday and ordering one

Paul,

The kit does not come with any retracts. However, TF has a complete air retract kit just for the P-40. The cost is only $108 at towerhobbies. This said, these NEW lado's from the new French manufacturer seem to be bullet proof / very well made. Worth the money.
