Sorry you don't care for the tunes. One of the main reasons I use them is to obscure all of the undesirable background noises that I cannot control... People talking, other models flyng, especially slimers, etc. I would maybe leave my video soundtracks virgin if I could get a sterile and controlled audio environment. But, personally, I also enjoy the way music can create a mood and excitement and tie all of the clips together. Maybe in future reviews I can figure a way to give both?

I agree with you. I adjust mine down to as quiet as I need to to accomplish it. I try to atleast drown out the wind noise and most often, the videographer talking with his mouth 6 inches from the Mic. I usually have the music low enough to hear the jet, or any other airplane I am focused on, because, I too like the sound of the subject. So, what am I saying? I support your statement.

Jon,
The awesome video, photography and informative analysis here makes you certainly the KING of reviewers! It's amazing that you don't charge both the manufacturer AND us for work of this quality - thanks!

Wing Question

Is the main wing detachable for transport? I would imagine it's a pain to do with having the retract system hooked up but was curious.

Removable? Yes. Practical? No. Between the wires for the servos and airlines. I know I wouldnt want to do it every time. I have Pontiac Vibe and I can get it, and a couple other planes back there with some creative packing.

with some small quick connect and servo leads with a plug in the right place it would'nt be that bad.
