The covering material that you supplied in the kit, is this mono coat?
Sorry to ask again but the laminating material that your refering to that the stuff for documents - yeah?
So u have to cover the wing in multiple sections.

I made some more progress on the Zeph tonight. Got the motor mount glued in; machined up a stop for the folding prop; made up another motor bracket ( the one I had was too small for the motor i've got) and decided on where everythings going.

I can only recommend the 3M90 - I know some parts I didn't put as much 3M90 as I should cause the laminate "just stick".. after 2 weeks or so, those parts needed some 3M90 love

looks awesome bud

I would mount your motor on the inboard side of your badass motor mount, that much weight out back will kill hitting your cg easily.

Ok I'll look at that one. I've done a approx cg check. Tomorrow I should almost finish.
I've got a quick question. Do you think I should engineer up a stop so the blades can't cross over when folding? I was playing with the motor ( as you do ) blowing the dust around in the garage and noticed a few times, when the motor braked, the blades crossed over, and when I applied power they wouldn't straighten out properly.

Yes you have to have a stop so they only go strait back and no farther,if not it will tear itself out of the mount.

Looks good. That lam film is growing on me, I might have to try it. I really like the idea of a smooth, glossy finish. How much for enough to cover my blunt-nose and ship to Canada?

So with the lam, I wont need as much Riteweave. I had a question about that: I have that big sheet of the yellow weave material, but I also have a roll of fiberglass drywall tape. Does it matter which I use? The drywall tape looks to be a heck of a lot easier to work with than the big, awkward sheet of the yellow stuff, since it is in thin strips and has an adhesive backing on it as well that holds it together and keeps it from fraying.

I also need to find a folding prop. Any good sources for these? I'm planning to use a Turnigy C3548 1100kV motor with a 12X6 prop.
