We're holding 3.9v per cell under full load and burning up motors right and left... we are all about to find out who really can handle the amount of power they are rated - and who can't!

Are you burning up the light versions?

I need some 6s& 5s (at least 5000mah but would prefer more Mah.) Jim but nothing on your site each time I look.
I can say I have the older XPS packs and they have been very good but it is getting time to replace them. Hope to see some new packs soon Jim.

We have burned up a variety of motors, and those that have survived are on the ragged edge. When we go to 75C or nano wires, those won't be usable anymore. So, we are looking at other alternatives. We are safe if the motor can handle 6,000+ watts continuous on 12S. We are seeing 11,000+ watts continuous now with 15S using these batteries.

We have a huge shipment already in route and another being prepared. When you guys see the pricing for the batteries now, you are going to be floored! Our 65C 6S5000mAh packs will be $45 cheaper than our Platinum packs were! ($140 vs. $185).

So it sounds to me that there are going to be some changes needed to make the smaller motor more "bullet proof" to the newer lipos coming to market. Have you guys found a solution and if so, is there a time frame we can expect? I am a believer in good things come to those who wait and knowing that the smaller motor is over 1 lb lighter than the original big screamer is making me very happy I waited! But I also want to be realistic of the time frame for my current project. So any guesses on when you will start taking orders for the smaller motor would be really helpfull!

Fantastic prices Jim!! As I said you have great packs....in fact I have Flight power packs( inheirited) which do not stand up to my older packs. I have one good 6s 5000mah pack left so please let us know when the shipment is in....I had to shelve my Hawk because I need packs. I am wondering how the new batteries will work on my prop plane motors? Are the motors you are burning only those on EDF?

You all know the easy and sensible solution to better batteries is to actually drop a cell to keep the total voltage under load at the same levels as with older generation batteries?

Very true, since as soon as you think its "bullet proof" on 12S some new battery will come out that requires you to rethink that bit.

Not so long ago my larger EDF planes were considered 24 Cell planes (NiCad), That same plane is 6 cell (Li-poly)plane now. You just are not going to be able to hold the battery technology constant.

Just call it a 6kw Fan system with max input voltage of XX and then let the buyer figure out the number of cells they need. At the end of the day the battery pack voltage is too variable to just state its a max 12S setup.

Throw us a bone...We don't have 65C packs now.

I do have a Falcon and a Reaction waiting on a power system.

We have already had people have to drop a cell (or two) when going from our original 30C (black) to our 45C platinum (silver) packs. They are likely going to have to do that again with the 65C batteries.

Jim..........How will we be able to tell which is the new packs....just by the 65 c rating or will you post new photos on your site? I really do need some packs as I am flying prop planes at the moments as I don't have enough EDF packs.

I am flying the old black packs @ 6s 5000mah. Maybe with the new packs I could fly 5s 6600mah and keep the same weight.....Jim?

Most of our older packs will be removed from our website. We will only be selling the 65C packs from now on.

The new packs are a little heavier (I think 1oz for a 6S setup), so if you do drop a cell and going with the 6800mAh (no longer 6600mAh) it could be a wash.

6800 mah? Wow! I thought they were to be 6600mah....that is great. Do you really believe we can drop a cell to 5s and still have the performance of a 6s? I would like very much to have the power and more MAH for longer flights. I am flying 10s @ 5000mah in my HAwk. I was squeaking out 5-6 minutes on the Stumax @ 5000Mah and 10s
