share my experience of Corona with mega 16/15/4
Hi, just want to share my experience with your guys. I am using mega 16/15/4 motor, PHOENIX-25 esc, Traxxas 32P 12T Pinion Gear (http://www.hobbypeople.net/gallery/629195.asp).
I am using several kinds of batteries.
1. cheap battery http://www.batteryspace.com/product.asp?3=69, 7-cell, flying time = 8 min with training gear.
2. much cheaper and home-made 8-cell stick battery using http://www.batteryspace.com/product.asp?3=282, flying time = 7 min with training gear. The flying time is not bad since the battery is light.
3. my stock Zagi-400X 1700mah battery, flying time = 7 min with training gear.
The motor is somehow hot after flying without canopy. I have flied more than 30 now. I am still in the learning curve.
FYI. My old atomic force brushed motor (10T pinion gear) wore quickly with 8-cell battery, but mega 16/15/4 (12 pinion gear) works quite well with 8-cell batteries.
