I bet that the landing gear from an Esky Outdoor Big Lama will do the trick. I don't know what your overall finished length is, Ed, but on the Esky, it is 19.5". The difference is going to be minimal and I bet yours is a bit longer than the Esky, as the exit point for the tail rotor would be at the bottom of the tail whereas yours is in the scale area. The gear sets are only a couple of bucks and may be the perfect thing to finish it off without needing to reinvent the wheel. I hope this has helped and not hindered things. I am in the process of doing some file format upgrading to my computer so when I am get up and running a bit later, I will post some pictures to this so you can visually see what I am referring to.
