Terry,

It wouldn't be a challenge for them to copy my eVader, plus the school wants to carry a much bigger payload. This new vehicle will weigh about 60 kg.

WOW....60kg .......130lbs.? that will be a whopper ..Please keep us updated , and are they a web site for these students to share their build ? let us know...

Sorry to have raised this interest. The primary missions are for the students to learn from and do well in this design methodology course. A completed aircraft doesn't have to necessarily result. But, if it looks like one will, I will let you know.

Compared to the other groups' projects, this one undertaken by these 4 students is gargantuan.

Well... the first group of 4th-year students at the University of Calgary didn't get anywhere near completed with the big eVader. Just one side of the power transmission system in 3D-printed plastic for presentation purposes. Impressive nevertheless.

For a bit of fun I'm flying my Nymbus a few times a week behind the Mech. Eng. building. This is a flight from a couple of days ago.
