Jerry,

Pitch authority is looking a little weak.

Try relocating the linkage balls to the outer holes of the servo arms (as shown in the IM).

With that changed fly again; now you can the adjust pitch gyro gain.

The tail boom should stay level all by itself.

I added dual links to thrust vector control and a 1:1 ratio what Gary had suggested increasing pitch control stability. The dual link will increase robustness of this connection.

I spent some time cleaning up the wiring and move some stuff around. Here's how she looks finally assembled just over 5lbs TOW with Active Stab Go-pro HD system.

I'm very pleased with the flight so far. I will change the aileron/throttle setup to one rate gyro and mixer. It will be much more easier to adjust.

Testing will resume as soon as I get the second mixer.

Cheers Jerry

2lb payload for 9 min. with (2) 4S 3000's,

or 12 min with (2) 4S 4400's (though this one we haven't tried yet).

Absolute max payload is 2.5 lb. Aircraft empty weight w/o batteries or payload is 3.5 lb.

I've just ordered one of these too and will report back on its construction and test flying. As a relative newcomer to using model aircraft for photography I was torn between a fixed wing and a helicopter to carry a camera, this seems to offer the best of both worlds. I'm just hoping that it's easy enough for a creature with no opposable thumbs to fly...

Hey Dude welcome to the build post. Please add your input to the tread, this is why I started it. Gary has been post here as well giving support to the product. It has been learning curve for me, this aircraft is truly unique warrants a build post. Together we will spread the word "nVader"

Cheers Jerry
