Camera mounted today also tipped the scales at 4.8 lbs with Camera and 4S 3200 mah battery. So we should be just under 5lbs TOW.

The segment was filmed in June 2007; the big plane you see is the very first eVader prototype. It's quite a bit bigger than the nVader, weighing 12 lbs vs. 4.

Replace the helicopter landing gear with wheel. This gives the ship a wider stance and gives the trust vectoring servo some protection. Tomorrow we install the camera mount system.

The landing gear is looking excellent Jerry, it looks like it will remove the possibility of roll on take-off and landing as well as protecting the servo. I'm going to build and test mine stock first but will definitely going consider this as a first mod.

What about forward pitch? Without the heli gear up front it looks more prone to nosing in or is the aircraft balanced in such a way that this is unlikely?

My kit cleared customs yesterday (after the post service forgetting to tell me it had been held) so will finally be arriving early next week
