I know what you mean Laine, they get you over here and then pretty much work you solid until it's time to leave. Truth is though, there really isn't much to do anyway so it's just as well.

I went to the bizaar one day expecting something new, turned out it's just another cheesy flea market like back in the States full of knockoff Chinese junk. I do like to get a pizza or gyro once a week or so. Nice break from the chow halls.

In any event, I'm currently on the midnight to noon shift, so lunch is doable. Or, stop by the Golf ramp, and I'll show you the Reapers.

Right on all counts Chris. The bizzar is a joke. I havent made it to the one here yet, but Im sure its no different than Bagrams was.

Does Roshan suck as much down there as it does here? I've never used such a "hit-or-miss" cell service in my life...it's almost like we're in a poor, under-developed country. Still, EVERYONE here has a cell phone...

I do stop by your blog fairly regularly to keep up. You always have such a positive outlook!! Thanks for your service and for the boost you give to your fellow service men and women!!.
I will get to the LHS(closest is 125 miles) this week and see if I can't pick up a few spare parts for vapors,champs ect. So hope to get repair parts in the mail next week or so.

I am glad it made and in one piece to boot!!!! It is battle tested--I banged it around in the living room but kept getting abused by the ceiling fan!! Rotten fan just jumps in front anything I try to fly.
Possibly it could be pilot error Nah!! bad fan!!!
