This is some pics of Eagletree's baro airspeed and altitude sensors embedded in the wing of my Cularis glider. I'm using them with my FPV setup.
I carved a groove on the bottom side of the wing over the servo wire channel, this allowed me to run the daisy chain wire to the root of the wing where an additional connector mates up when I plug the wings into the fuselage. I have a piece of lexan covering them. Its sunk into the wing flush with the surface. There is nothing protruding except the pitot tube.

Thanks Billpa for this sticky. There are some great ideas here and I'm sure the list will grow. A picture IS worth a thousand words.

RPM sensor

Here they are my brushless sensors installed.

The first has two needles soldered.

For the second I made two male-female adapters (3mm bullet)

Good landings

Rpm sensor.

Attached the sensor with heat shrink, bored the hole in flywheel with 0.0005" press fit. Works great!

Here are some pics of how I mounted the magnetic RPM sensor in my Zenoah 2 stroke outboard. I secured the sensor with heat shrink afterwards.
