You don't need an AR6200 for this plane. Get the AR6110 from Redrockethobbies for $49.99. If you sign up for their emails you will get coupon codes for 8% off on a monthly basis.

An AR6200 is like using an elephant gun for a squirrel.

how big of a feild do you fly in you gotta remember full range for the 2.4ghz is only 1/2 a mile for the furthest you can go.... so parkflyer is around a 1/4 thats plenty for most..

The maximum range will be slightly less and shadowing will be more of a problem, that being said I've flown the AR6110 to the same distances as my AR6200 without any issues. But I make dam sure the Rx is placed well away from the battery and esc, I also make sure the antenna are no where near any metal pushrods.

so really you dont need full range unless your gonna do an fpv set up

i would like to do FPV. something i have been wanting to do for a while. plus i have a sailplane ARF i wanna build. but thats a different subject.
im afraid the parkflyer Rx wont be enough but i don't want to over power either haha

I'll also add that none of my 3 AR500 has ever let me down. Looks to me that any sort of electrical problem or interference and people always blame the Rx.

well why else would the wildcats controls lock up on me? if it were one surface, prolly a servo. but it was all of em, doubt it was the ESC
