Why do I keep making the same mistake? Da no clue, except I like flying slow.
The um T-28 is my fave of all the micros.. well, honestly, not flown the newer ones.
The Mosquito, Polcat or Sukoy are still brushed. Na way, I buy, too pricey.
Being totaly tired of the brushed motors AND the weak mother board/esc, I gave up on them.
On the R&D area of my bench are a: T-28, a Champ, and a balsa build.
All are wanting a brushless conversion.
Champ needs ailerons.
T-28's front gear is in the way.
Do not give up on your T-28! Tail hook! Chris

Happened both times on downwind leg to base leg for landing. Was going too slow and down she goes. My bad! Literally no damage as the tall weeds protected the WC. And I learned something flying downwind.
Did something similar a couple weeks ago. Was flying downwind too slow and a bit too low and tried a split s. Nosed her straight into the ground, bent the prop and smashed up my brand new reinforced cowl. New cowl, prop, and a couple foam spots hit with some hot water and she was good to go again. Love this plane.

I'm kinda partial towards Franka Potente myself. She's a Wildcat in my book.
