Just getting as much info as i can.
I don't recall. But I would probably make a plywood adapter between the Fuselage and the glow motor mount.

Rebinding after trimming helps. I agree not much could help except a T cut.
As a kid I put an 0.49 on a foam glider, only to see the foam disapear!
A priest build a kit plane which was the end of him when fule got behind paint.
It went un seen, until structural failure.

Any of you Wildcatters also own an E-Flite Sea Fury 400/480? If so a build and flight characteristic comparison?

If you want the most out your power 10 i would up the speed controller to 40amps or more, but if you cant try a 9x8 or even a 10x8 prop and keep full throttle between 5 and 10 seconds and a good 30 seconds to cool back down

Will the power 10 bolt right up to the factory motor mount ?
How about if I run a 10x7 apc prop?

Power 10 is a direct bolt on. So no worries there.

The 10x7 looks to be about 35A max with 45C Lipos.

Funny you bring this up. I've been looking at this plane lately, too. I have all the bits to build one.

Shorter wing span, 5-6 more ounces than the Wildcat or the P51BL, my guess is it will have an edge over the other two, more stable, better in the wind. Might land a bit faster?

With the Power 10 and the T-28 prop, you will be at +31A. I would think about picking up a larger ESC.

A few people here, me included, use the Castle Creations Thunderbird 54A ESC without any issues whatsoever. However, at least pick up at minimum a +40A ESC.

Cheers!

I agree....when I upgrade my Parkzone Warbirds to an E-Flite Power 10 motor, I always use a Castle Creations Thunderbird 54amp ESC also....of course, it can only be used with 3-cell batteries....NOT 4-cell. Here's a link to a guy I've bought several from on Ebay....the price is fabulous.

If you buy more than one, he will combine the shipping, but even $37.00, shipped for one is a good deal.

Since the Power 10 has a 5mm shaft, you can't use the T-28 prop adapter. Rather, just order the prop adapter made for the Parkzone P-47, whose motor has a 5mm shaft. Here's a link to the prop adapter....

With this adapter, you can still use the T-28 9.5x7.5 prop, which gives a great speed/amp ratio.

I hope this helps,
Mondo

Great Scott! What a sweet deal on the CC TB 54A esc there mondo. You are 100% correct about those ESC's being up to 3S ONLY.

Good find!

Well, I've been flying helis for about 4 years and about 3 months ago, I got the plane bug. Flew a PZ micro T-28 for a month and last week bought a PZ Wildcat. Maidened it tonight. Bought the PNP version and put a Spektrum recvr I had in it along with one of my 450 Heli batteries, a 2200 mah. Flight was great. A little more faster and responsive than what I was used too, but it turned out OK. I really like this plane.

Finally took my Wildcat to the skies, now I am curious if anybody else has mounted a GoPro to their Cat? If so, where you think is the best place to mount it? I posted this question in the Corsair forum as I also got one last weekend but would assume there might be different mounting locations for different planes... Feel free to post pictures, I'd greatly appreciate your help!
