Changesun retracts V2

Hi guys,
I`m thinking of adding a set of these to a HL F4 Phantom. What is needed
other than the retract units themselves? I`m assuming instructions come in the packages. Is there any y harnesses needed? If so, Windrider has a
y harness with 3 leads that plug into the retracts, then the othet end goes into the receiver.
Thanks for your time,

Kerry

Haven't seen these posted, but they look like they are just the Pingzheng PZ15090 and PZ15091 (I'm basing that on the Hobby Partz part numbers).

PZ15090:

PZ15091:
http://www.hobbypartz.com/77p-91-ere...-onepiece.html

Price is very close to HK on these.

If the question are the HK PZs the same as the HPs PZs? Yes. HK had them first for less for a while, the started catching on and HP started suppling them.

PZ is pumping out the 15090 or 3mm dia strut 12mm trunnion width, the 15091 or 514 and now the 15094 which is a smallest of the three.

I ordered a set of the 15090s from HP. These will be going in an Exceed RC Mig-15 70mm from Nitroplanes. I also bought the ProDesign 25struts from x-flight for the same plane. I was planning on getting it all from HK but they are backordered along with the retracts. By the way HP has free shipping on orders over $25 right now. Do all of the parts required to do nose wheel steering come with the retracts other than the steering servo?

I thought it was a pull-pull nose steering system if I'm not mistaken. RC-Castle has the Mig15 retracts, as well as H1hobby.com http://www.h1hobby.com/electric-serv...ml?cPath=69_66

I believe they are both in stock as well.

As far as seen, the only dedicated nose etract that I've noticed is the one by eflite. Otherwise you just pick one etract and add the pull pull arm mounted to the 3mm strut rod to steer. This is even true for the 4mm and 5mm metal gear also.

I just did a set on the 514 or 15091 using a 5mm bolt and 3mm machine nuts instead of set screws to create the pull pull arms in the Skylite strut.

To bad you didn't order the ChangeSun V2 from Xflight with the struts. The metal trunnion on the CS makes them more durable in the 2.5kg class.

International:

http://rc-castle.com/shop/product_in...oducts_id=1445

In the US:

Hey guys,
Just recieved my Retracts from HK (Servoless Retractable Landing Gear Left & Right (1pair))
STTE-02 as well as the nose gear STTE-03.

In any case one of the main gear retracts stopped working. The other two work fine.

Does anyone know where I could buy one in the US?

Do you think that 15094 can rotate 90 degree? like the bigger one in the photo?

Tomme21, send them an e-mail with exactly what you want. He'll send you a price with shipping. I ordered my metal sides from him and replaced all them on my F86, essentially making them "Titans."

Pricing was much cheaper than buying direct from EPF. EPF has "vendor protected" pricing on their website.

I ordered the Pingzheng PZ15090 retracts from HobbyPartz. They seem to be working fine after many cycles. These will be going in an Exceed 70mm Mig-15. What size screw is used to hold the landing gear in place? 3mm?

Thanks,
Steve

trunion

The trunion is the part that connects the strut to the retract body. The trunion is the part that rotates.
