There is a country gift shop near me that was started by an Englishman whose hobby was live steam and antique engines.

He hosted an annual rally where people from all over would come in and show off their stuff. I remember that one year, some guy brought in a steam launch similar to the one on E-bay, built on a fiberglass hull.

I wonder---.

Part of researching these old boats has meant looking at ebay/real boats for tech. reference, very helpfull ( like that control console )

Tim B., I emailed the seller of the expensive 63' C-C MY kit, telling him nicely that I thought his asking price was a bit optimistic. He has emailed me back, saying that he is selling the kit for a friend, and asking me what I thought was a fair price for it. I'm mulling it over, will probably email him back later tonight (Saturday).
He said that his friend asked him to place the starting price at $ 550.00.

Not sure if its still there, but there was a 63 footer partially completed for approximately.$700 ridiculous!!
